10th Annual Walk to Remember Registration Open
Friends of the Angel Friends:
We would like to invite you to join us on May 2, 2020 in remembering your loved ones by participating in our 10th Annual Walk to Remember around Rice Lake in Maple Grove. There will be a reading of your loved one’s names, face painting, kid’s craft activities, and photo opportunities. The walk begins at the Angel of Hope Garden, located at the Maple Grove Arboretum — 9400 Fernbrook Lane, Maple Grove, MN 55369.
We are proud to announce that we have received two signature sponsors which will help us with our Walk to Remember 2020. They are Brighter Days Grief Center and Delta Dental of Minnesota.
Also, Hy-Vee of Maple Grove will be providing our snacks and treats.
We are excited to offer several features to this year’s Walk:
- Instead of serving lunch, we will be offering a variety of snacks and treats! Feel free to bring your own lunch.
- Ziggy’s Art Bus will be returning this year! Visit their website for most information.
- Face Painting is back by popular demand!
- Go Green! We encourage attendees to bring their own water bottle to minimize our plastic water bottle usage (limited quantities will be available at the Walk).
Deadline for pre-registrations is April 12, 2020.
T-shirts are included with all pre-registrations. Those registering the day of the event cannot be guaranteed a T-shirt. Walk is limited to 350 participants, so early registration is encouraged. Please leave pets at home. Event will be held rain or shine.
Registration and Check in: 9:00 a.m.
Remembrance Gathering: 10:00 a.m.
Walk Begins: 10:30 a.m.
Event ends at 1:00 p.m.
